En avril 2016, nous avons accompagnés durant une dizaine de jours le groupe afro-Jazz "AFRIKAN PROTOKÖL" au Burkina Faso afin de réaliser une vidéo documentaire sur le groupe.
AFRIKÄN PROTOKÖL est le sextet afro groove du saxophoniste belge GUILLAUME VAN PARYS. suite à sa rencontre avec le batteur burkinabé Moïse Ouatara. Il a composé une musique basée sur des rythmes traditionnels du Burkina Faso et de l'Afrique de l'ouest.

Here, the griot, Zouratie Kone urges people to free themselves from conflict through dialogue and forgiveness, because nobody is spared when it arises. He uses a rhythm called Yara Yara from the Toussian and Siamou ethnic groups, located around the city of Orodara in the Kénédougou region of Burkina Faso. Yara Yara means « communicate together to stop fighting ». The griot plays this rhythm to calm people down when there is a fight between two individuals; between a husband and wife, or between two villages".Music
